EMBARC clinicians have been working with the ELF patient advisory group to develop the 2nd Bronchiectasis Patient Conference programme. Similar to last year, the conference will be held online and registration is open to everyone. Speakers announced for this year so far are Professor James Chalmers (UK), Professor Stefano Aliberti (Italy), Dr Pieter Goeminne (Belgium) and Dr Josje Altenburg (Netherlands) who will cover topics such as  

  • Overview of bronchiectasis and main treatments
  • Airway clearance techniques
  • Nutrition and diet
  • Psychological aspects
  • Pseudomonas
  • Role of viral infections
  • New research and treatments

Please also note that this year will see the use of a translation app to improve accessibility to the conference.
